The immersion procession of Shri Lakshmi-Ganesh Idol stopped by Muslims in front of the mosque

Maharajganj (UP) – Tension built up on 13th November when the immersion procession of the Idol of Shri Lakshmi-Ganesh was stopped in front of the mosque in Mahammada village. In this case, the Police took immediate action arrested three people and brought the situation under control. At present, Police have been deployed in the area.

Hindus worshipped the Shri Lakshmi-Ganesh Idol on Diwali. The incident took place when the Idol was being taken in a tractor trolley for immersion. The Muslims said that the procession should be rerouted through another area. Along with this, they also started sloganeering. The video of the incident has been circulated on social media. It is seen that there are a large number of Muslims in the mosque. Apart from that, Hindus are also seen shouting ‘Har Har Mahadev’ and ‘Jai Shriram’.
