Islamabad (Pakistan) – Recently, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the US. US President Joe Biden also held bilateral talks with him. India has signed important agreements with the US during this tour. The signed agreements consists of; manufacturing of GE engines in India for India’s fighter jet ‘Tejas’, supply of advanced drones to India, transfer of technology of defense equipment, etc. This has shocked Pakistan. “These defense agreements and mutual cooperation between India and the US are dangerous to our security,” says Pakistan. Pakistan had earlier expressed its anger by saying that the US should not make pro-Indian statements, against Pakistan.
Pakistan sent a message to the US
The US should also consider the concerns of Pakistan. Ignoring these concerns, India’s access to advanced military technology will increase instability in South Asia and weaken the traditional balance. (Pot calling the kettle black ! Pakistan should note that instability in Asia is not caused by India, but by Pak itself ! – Editor) Technology transfer will make India stronger. This will endanger Pakistan’s national security.
