New Delhi – The US is going to return more than 100 stolen Indian antiquities to India. The US announced this during the US visit of Prime Minister Modi in his presence. PM Modi has thanked the US for that. Most of the antiquities were smuggled from India by smuggler Subhash Kapoor. Besides India, he had smuggled artefacts from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia and other nations.

Google, Amazon, and others going to invest in India

During the US tour PM Modi had met the Executive officers of the establishments such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. At that time, these officers announced investing in India. Google is planning to invest Rs 91,957 crore, Amazon Rs 100,023 crore.

Editorial perspective

How can so many antiquities go out of the nation ? Was the Survey of Archaeology sleeping ? It is essential to replace the Survey of Archaeology officials with patriots and devout Hindus as current officials are consistently failing to conserve historical and ancient artefacts.
