Islamabad (Pakistan) – The former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan was arrested on 9th May from the Islamabad High Court. This happened when he came to the High Court to appeal for bail in 2 cases. He was arrested by Pakistan’s paramilitary forces. Imran Khan was arrested and then beaten up. Chief Justice Aamer Farooq of the High Court ordered the Home Ministry Secretary and Islamabad Police Chief to be present in the Court within 15 minutes of Imran Khan’s arrest. Justice Farooq said, “If the Police chief does not attend the Court, we will call the Prime Minister of Pakistan here.” These people should come to the Court and clarify on what basis Imran Khan has been arrested and why?”
