Demand legal guarantees on base price, free electricity and loan waivers !
New Delhi – A Maha Panchayat was organised by Samyukta Kisan Morcha at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. Thousands of farmers were present in this event. The Maha Panchayat was organised to protest non-withdrawal of cases registered against farmers, loan waiver, free electricity and minimum support price (MSP). Farmers from 32 farmer associations participated in this Maha Panchayat.

Activists of Samyukta Kisan Morcha said that the Government had given a written assurance to implement 50% MSP on the total cost of production. In the committee formed by the Government for this, 26 members were in favour of industrialists. Therefore, farmers are opposing this committee.
