Police ban the gathering organised by the Popular Front of India (PFI)

Action was taken due to demand by Vishwa Hindu Parishd’s (VHP)

New Delhi – Jihadi organisation Popular Front of India had organised a public meeting in the Zandewalan area on 30th July, but it had to be cancelled due to the Police banning it.

VHP had made a demand with the Police to stop this meeting.

Editorial viewpoint

Why such a demand needed ? Why did not the Police take action on their own ?
