‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ is based on nationalism, and so anti-Hindu film critic Anupama Chopra has a problem !
Mumbai – The film ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’, based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a renowned scientist and Padma Bhushan recipient of the Indian Institute of Research (ISRO), is getting widespread popularity. Film critic Anupama Chopra, however, seems to have a problem with this film. ‘The film shows Nambi Narayanan as a bit more nationalist’, said Chopra. She also said, ‘Narayanan’s religion has been repeatedly shown in the film’. (It is a shame for Hindus that a film in their country, is opposed for showing someone as a ‘religious Hindu’ ! – Editor)

While this film made by R Madhavan is being appreciated all around, Chopra’s review of the film is getting a lot of criticism on social media. The greatness of Hindu Dharma has been asserted in the film as Narayanan is shown performing pooja, recitation, praying etc. on important occasions. One person asked that if Narayanan had been shown offering Namaz, would Chopra have criticised like this ?
Anupama Chopra’s anti-Hindu history !1. Anupama Chopra had also criticised the film ‘RRR’ which was released two months ago. The film was appreciated around the world, but Chopra had accused the film of being ‘pro-Hindu’. 2. Even in the March 2022 film ‘The Kashmir Files’, Chopra had denied the reality of the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus and said that ‘the film is just a drama’. 3. Anupama Chopra is the wife of Vidhu Vinod Chopra, a famous anti-Hindu director in Bollywood. Vidhu Vinod Chopra had made a film ‘PK’ which mocked Hindu Deities, and his film ‘Shikara’ was a love story depicting the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus as a joke. |
