New Delhi – A bridge that is being constructed by China across the Pangong Lake is in the illegally occupied area, informed the Central Government in a written reply to a question in the Parliament. The Government also clarified that India had never accepted that encroachment of China since 1962.

Minister of State for External Affairs V Muralidharan said that India and China have maintained dialogue through both diplomatic and military channels for disengagement in the remaining areas on LAC in Eastern Ladakh.
