New Delhi – The danger of the new wave of Covid-19 has threatened 53 countries in the world. World Health Organisation (WHO) has warned, the Covid-19 infections in these countries have doubled.

At a press conference WHO Europe Head Hans Kluge said, the Covid-19 cases are again increasing in Europe. If this continues, the continent would see 5 lakh more deaths by February. We are standing at a serious phase of an outburst of the pandemic.

Europe is again at the epicentre of the pandemic, where it was a year ago. Relaxation of public health measures is to blame for rising infections. The low rate of vaccination in some parts of the continent is also a reason for the rise in the Covid-19 cases.
