Procession taken out for the first time after the abrogation of Article 370

Srinagar (J&K) – A procession was carried out in the city on the occasion of Shrikrushna Janmashtami. Various chariots were decorated during the procession. Hindus participated in the procession on a large scale. This is the first procession on such a large scale in the Lal Chawk after the abrogation of Article 370. Security Forces provided security to the procession.

The procession started from the Habba Kadal area of the city and Ganpatyar Temple and reached Lal Chowk and returned to the Temple. The devotees, including men, women and children danced alongside the chariot and distributed sweets among people.
