Former US President Donald Trump convicted in 34 felony charges

New York, US – A New York jury found Donald Trump guilty in 34 counts of falsifying business records in a scheme to illegally influence the 2016 election through hush money payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

Trump sat stone-faced while the verdict was read as cheering from the street below could be heard in the hallway on the courthouse’s 15th floor where the decision was revealed after more than nine hours of deliberations. Porn Star Stormy Daniels had accused Donald Trump of being in a relationship with her. This case was suppressed during the 2016 Presidential Elections by paying 1,30,000 dollars to Stormy by Trump. Trump had allegedly misappropriated the money and used his associate Michael Cohen to silence Daniels. Trump has been convicted of all the 34 charges.
