Manusmriti, which tormented the ancestors for 5,000 years, should be opposed

• Anti-Hindu Jitendra Awhad opposes the Government’s decision as usual
• Plan to burn Manusmriti at Mahad on 29th May !

Mumbai – Manusmriti, which denied the rights of women and because of which our ancestors lived in trouble for 5,000 years, is being brought back by this Government. This should be strongly opposed. On 29th May, we are going to stage a protest against the Government at the same place, i.e. Mahad, where Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar burnt Manusmriti. MLA Jitendra Awhad of Sharad Pawar faction has appealed to attend in large numbers for this event. SCERT has proposed to include some verses from Manusmriti in the State schools’ curriculum. MLA Jitendra Awhad made statements against it. (One-sided information was given by Jitendra Awhad! Even though the compiler of the Constitution Dr Ambedkar burnt the Manusmriti, after studying the same Manusmriti, he compiled the ‘Hindu Code Bill’. Why does Awhad not tell this? – Editor)

He further said, ‘Manusmriti has ruined India, created discord in the society, introduced varna system in the society and created caste discrimination. The same Manusmriti, which introduced the worst treatment of women, is being brought back.

• Burning of any religious scripture is an offence under the law. Owing to this, Jitendra Awad making such a statement regarding the burning of Manusmriti is anti-constitutional! How can the Police neglect this?
• Please note that Awhad never talks about burning the scriptures promoting Jihadi terrorism worldwide!
• Will the so-called progressives who preach to others that ‘thoughts should be countered only with thoughts’ now prevent Awhad from burning Manusmriti?
