China’s spy satellites tripled in number in last 6 years : Building ‘Star wars army’

 

Beijing – China is building a massive Star Wars army in space. It has tripled the number of its spy satellites in space in the last six years. Experts believe that China can use it to attack Taiwan. Chinese President Xi Jinping wants to keep the Indo-Pacific region free from Western influence. China has an estimated 350 surveillance satellites, a 300% increase since 2018, the US Space Force warned this week.

According to a report by ‘The Sun’, US Space Delta-2 Force Commander Colonel Raj Aggarwal said that China is increasing its military power through a new space race. Lt. Col. Travis Anderson, chief of the Space Force Intelligence Squadron, said China has prepared itself to the capability of detecting US and allied military vessels in the Indo-Pacific.
