Hindu students playing Holi at Aligarh Muslim University assaulted by Muslims

Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh) – Hindu students who were playing Holi at the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) were assaulted by the Muslim students on 21 ^st March. In the video circulating online, Muslim students are seen chasing and attacking Hindu students, who were simply celebrating the festival of Holi. Reports also suggest that Hindu Deities were also subjected to abuse during the altercation.

Today, Muslims attacked Hindu students and misbehaved with female students who had organized Holi celebration at AMU.

1. The victimised Hindu students recounted how they were targetted by Muslim students while participating in Holi festivities at the AMU’s Engineering Department. Many suffered injuries during the attack.

2. A case has been filed, and the victimised Hindu students have urged the authorities to hold the perpetrators accountable for their actions. The complaint lists several Muslim students involved in the assault, indicating a serious breach of communal harmony.

3. Misbah, Zaki-ur-Rehman, Zaid Sherbani, Sharukh Sabri, Shoaib Qureshi, Ahmed Mustafa, Afafan Sherbani, Sehwan Khan, Faizal, Arsalan Siddiqui etc Muslim students attacked with sticks and guns according to the FIR.
