Congress workers raise pro-Pakistan slogans after its candidate’s win in Legislative Council in Karnataka

  • BJP accuses Congress through a video made viral on social media
  • Congress refutes charges

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Congress leader Syed Naseer Hussain won the Legislative Council election. His victory was celebrated by raising slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ as per the shocking accusations of the BJP. Congress has, however, refuted the accusation.

On 27th February 2024, Congress won 3 seats out of 4 in the Legislative Council elections in Karnataka; among them is Syed Naseer Hussain, the political secretary of Mallikarjun Kharge, the Congress President.

BJP’s IT Chief Amit Malviya has made viral a video of Congress workers celebrating the victory of Hussain wherein the Congress workers are raising slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’. Malviya has commented that the Pakistan – obsession of the Congress is dangerous.

Naseer Hussain has, however, refuted the allegations, claiming that he heard slogans of only ‘Naseer Hussain Zindabad’, ‘Congress Party Zindabad’, ‘Naseer Khan Zindabad’ and ‘Naseer Sab Zindabad’. He did not hear whatever was shown by the media. Had he heard it, he would have certainly condemned such slogans and demanded necessary action against the sloganeers.

Congress has also made the original video viral in which ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans were not audible. The credibility of both videos would be proved only through the Police investigations.

Editorial Perspective

The facts of the video made viral by the BJP will be exposed. Even in the past, Congressmen have exhibited their love for Pakistan though it has refuted the charges now. The leaders, who conspired to divide the Southern part of India, are from Congress; therefore, nobody would be surprised by such incidents.
