Bankrupt Egypt to sell its city to the United Arab Emirates

Cairo (Egypt) – The Islamic nation of Egypt, currently facing financial challenges, has decided to sell the Mediterranean city of ‘Ras Al Hikma’ to the United Arab Emirates. In exchange for this scenic city, Egypt will receive 22 billion dollars. Renowned for its beautiful beaches, the citizens of Egypt often refer to Ras Al Hikma as the ‘heaven on earth.’ President Abdel Fateh al-Sisi’s decision to sell the city has triggered nationwide protests.

Egypt, facing a critical need for foreign exchange, has decided to transfer ownership of the city of Ras Al Hikma to the United Arab Emirates. An Egyptian official has indicated that UAE investors will finance and manage the city’s development.
