Muslim girl in a relationship with a Hindu youth brutally murdered by her father and brother

Amethi (Uttar Pradesh) – A Muslim girl named Afrin was brutally beaten to death by her father and brother. She was killed because she was in love with a Hindu youth. After a video of the incident went viral on social media, the Police registered a case on it. The Police dug the grave, recovered Afrin’s body and sent it to the hospital to conduct a post-mortem. Police have registered a case against the dead girl’s father and brother.

According to reports received, Afrin was talking with her boyfriend Sarvesh in the market on 4th August 2023. Someone gave the information about this to Afrin’s father Niamatullah. Once he came to know about this, he reached the spot along with Afrin’s brother Haider. Without any thought, both of them started beating Afrin ruthlessly.  The Police from Dhammor reached the spot as soon as they received the information. The Police took the entire family to the Police station. But Afrin refused to go home with her family. She went home with her mother only after the Police cleared the scene. After going home, her father and brother again beat her up in which the girl died. The Police are currently investigating the matter further.
