New Delhi – Muslim World League Secretary General Sheikh Dr Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa is on a 5-day visit to India. He participated in a programme organised by Khusro Foundation, at ‘India Islamic Cultural Centre’. Dr Al-Issa also acknowledged India’s contribution to humanity. “We have heard a lot about Indian wisdom…We know that we have a common objective of co-existing peacefully together…We know that the Indian components with all its diversity is a great model for coexistence not only in mere words but also on the ground and we appreciate all the efforts taken in this regard,” he noted.

Al-Issa said, “India is a Hindu majority nation. Yet its Constitution is secular. Negative propaganda is being spread in the world. The Constitution of India is sacrosanct. It gives equal rights and keeps people of all castes and religions, together. Indian Muslims are proud to be Hindustanis.
