Chinese spy balloons spotted over Japan !

  • Balloons observed in 2021 but brought to light now
  • Japan warns to shoot down the balloons if necessary  

Tokyo (Japan) – After India and China, Chinese ‘spy balloons’ were observed over Japan. As claimed by BBC, the balloons were spotted in September 2021, but their images have been released now. ‘BBC Panorama’ has published many satellite images of Chinese balloons flying in Japanese skies, based on the observations of an artificial intelligence technology, made with the help of a company. Similar balloons were earlier observed even in the USA.

1. Mr Corey Jaskolski, the founder of this company working on artificial intelligence technology, said the balloons were sent from North China and were seen crossing East Asia. These balloons are very huge and are equipped to collect data.

2. Mr Yoko Murakami, from Japan’s Defence Ministry, said that Japan Government has been keeping an eye on the movement of such balloons and if need be, the balloons would be shot down for the safety of the country and of the citizens.

3. The former East Asia analyst for the CIA, Mr John Culver, informed BBC that the Chinese balloons have been specially designed for ‘long range’ missions and some have reportedly circumnavigated the globe many times as it has been China’s continuous effort dating back to five years.

4. As per the news of the New York Times, the CIA had also reported that China was keeping a watch on the military bases of countries across the world through its spying balloons for many years. China has sent such balloons to 12 countries so far and has collected confidential data. Similar balloons were observed even over Taiwan.

Chinese balloons spied over India in 2022 !

America’s Defence Expert H I Sutton claimed that in January 2022, China’s balloon had spied over India’s naval bases when it was spotted over Port Blair, the Capital City of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Its images were shared even on social media at that time, but India had not made any official statement on the same.  (India should unite with other countries for putting a curb on such activities of China and give an apt reply to cunning China, in the language China understands ! – Editor)
