Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) – Zafar Sareshwala, Indian businessperson and former Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University made an appeal during a programme here that Indian Muslims should come out of the mentality of portraying themselves as ‘victims’ and focus on education. He added that, ‘We should communicate with our Hindu brothers and sisters and present a good image of ourselves in front of them. As long as we do not do this, the conflicts will continue.
Zafar Sareshwala further said that though there is discrimination against Indian Muslims, it is only done by certain sections. We cannot carry out a constant agitation. The world is moving ahead. Now, we cannot limit ourselves to attaining graduation alone, we need to become an expert in each field. Indian Muslims should attempt competitive exams (Civil Service Examination). If they do not even attempt the examination, how can they become successful ?
