Union Minister Nitin Gadkari supports Uniform Civil Code Bill !

Hyderabad (Telangana) – Do you know any Islamic country where there are two Civil Codes in force ? It is natural when a man marries a woman, but a man marrying four women is unnatural. The modern and educated people from the Muslim community do not marry 4 times. Uniform Civil Code is not against any religion. This law is meant for the progress of this country, stated Union Minister Nitin Gadkari while supporting the law. He expressed the above views when he was asked in a programme held on ‘Aaj Tak’, a Hindi news channel, about not passing a law for implementing the Uniform Civil Code all over the country.  He also said, “This issue is presently under discussion and the law can be implemented for benefit of the people of this country if the State Governments extended support.” MIM’s President and MP Asaduddin Owaisi has criticised the statement of Gadkari.

The minister, while responding to a question on why the Centre is not planning on bringing a law to enforce UCC across the country, said the matter falls on a concurrent list and if state governments are on board, then it will benefit the nation.https://t.co/25MMDBZKcz

Show guts to allow women in Sabarimala temple ! – Asaduddin Owaisi’s challenge to Gadkari

Owaisi should first dare to allow Muslim women in mosques, stop the customs of ‘burqa’, ‘hijab’, and ‘Nikah halala’, and then talk about other things !

I challenge Nitin Gadkari to allow women to Sabarimala temple. That is your culture, but don’t we have our culture, asked Asaduddin Owaisi. He said further that Muslim wives are legal wives. They also get a share in the wealth and are provided for their maintenance.
