Permission granted by Karnataka High Court

Karnataka – On 31st August, Shri Ganesh’s Idol was installed at Hubli Eidgah Maidan after Karnataka High Court allowed Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at the said ground. The Muslims had protested against this celebration and hence this matter reached the Court.

The Idol was worshipped by Pramod Muthalik, the Chairman and founder of Shriram Sena after installation. The photo of Swatantryaveer Savarkar is also placed near the Idol.

The Karnataka High Court gave the decision on 30th August in the favor of Hindus at 10 in night. The Municipality in that area has granted the permissions for the Ganesh celebrations. The Court endorsed this decision.
