
Mumbai – VLC Media Player, the popular Chinese software application for watching videos is banned in India. The Indian Government or VLC has not published an official statement. According to Media name, the ban on VLC players has imposed a couple of months ago.

India has previously banned Chinese apps like Tiktok, PUBG video games, and Hello. These apps share user data with the Chinese Government hence, they were banned in the interest of national security.
