Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – The Kerala High Court has observed that it cannot hold a Muslim woman to be the guardian of her minor child’s property, going by the precedents of the Supreme Court.

The Quran and Hadis (a book that has a collection of information on how Prophet Mohammad behaved and spoke) have not prevented the right of Muslim Women from being the guardians of their minor children, but the Court said that we have to follow the judgment given by the Supreme Court of India about the Section 141 of the Constitution of India.
