A huge crowd gathered to offer namaz on 20th May Anjuman Intizami Masjid Committee Banaras appealed to people not to come to the mosque to offer namaz as the wazukhana and the toilets are sealed.

Though it was declared a day before, people continued to show up in huge numbers. It stated that only a thousand people can offer namaz at once in the mosque. Temporarily drums filled with water have been arranged for the same.

If it is possible to offer namaz at home or in their locality, then why do the Muslims insist on offering namaz at the mosque ? That too at Gyanvapi, which is being proved to be a temple. The committee must answer why are they insisting on offering namaz there ? |
