‘No need for nuclear weapons if both countries resolve the Kashmir issue’

A claim made by Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan

Pakistan has enough nuclear arsenal; neighbouring countries should take notice and beware.

  • Instead of the number of nuclear weapons with Pakistan, India is fully aware of Pak’s real capabilities and the know-how to use them. Pakistan should restrain from flinging threats at India.
  • War is the only solution for the Kashmir issue. India is fully aware of this but sadly, no efforts are made in this direction.

Islamabad (Pakistan) – ‘Pakistan is fully capable and has adequate nuclear weapons to protect the country. No one can object to our preparedness and the neighbouring countries should take this seriously. The need for nuclear weapons will cease the day we resolve the Kashmir issue,’ said Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. He continued, ‘ If America has the resolve and intentions, it is possible to find a solution to the Kashmir issue’.

‘Stockholm International Peace Research Foundation’ informed that Pakistan has 165 nuclear weapons. Pakistan will try to enhance this capacity in near future.
