Head teacher apologises
Muslims are vigilant about their religious sentiments and immediately protest any attacks on them, while majority of Hindus are not only indolent regarding such incidents but lack pride about their religion as well!
London – A copy of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo portraying Prophet Muhammad’s cartoon was shown in Batley Grammar School in Britain’s West Yorkshire, following which, many Muslims held demonstrations outside the school. As a result, the head teacher of the school issued an apology. The religious education teacher, who showed the cartoon, also apologised to the Muslims. He has been suspended. The head teacher has issued a statement that the curriculum for religious education will be reviewed. Few months ago, a teacher in France was beheaded by a religious fanatic student for showing the cartoon in school.
