
New Delhi – Amid the deaths of hundreds of birds due to bird flu in the country it has been observed that the disease has now spread across 10 states in the country. This includes Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Gujarat, Delhi, Maharashtra and Uttarakhand. Parliamentary Standing Committee on Agriculture summoned senior officials of the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying to a meeting on 11th January. The meeting held discussions about the current status of the veterinary medicine services and available vaccines for the animals.
