The Government should try to get them sentenced to death through a speedy trial, otherwise they will be released on bail and will again indulge in anti-national activities.
New Delhi – 122 Islamic State militants from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu have been arrested in 17 cases. The arrest was made by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Minister of State for Home Affairs Kishan Reddy gave a written reply in the Rajya Sabha.
Apart from these States, Islamic State is active in Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, he added. India has already banned the Islamic State and its affiliates.
Kishan Reddy said he also knew how these terrorists are financed. He also knows how they are ordered and assisted from abroad to carry out terrorist acts. These terrorists communicate with each other through the internet.
