1. Importance of donating for a worthy cause : According to Hindu Dharma it is the supreme duty of every individual to donate for a worthy cause. Here, worthy means donating to serve Sat (Eternal Truth). Donations beget merit for the donor; whereas, donations for a worthy cause result in spiritual benefits to the donor, besides earning merits.
