A new case of Love Jihad in Uttar Pradesh
Meerut (Uttar Pradesh) – In a Love Jihad case, it came to light that a Muslim youth named Rihan cheated Hindu girls by claiming to make them famous on social media. He used to claim to make them famous on YouTube. On 20th May 2024 the case came to light, when accused Rihan kidnapped a minor Hindu girl. When girl’s father came to know about this, he lodged a complaint in the Police station. Based on this complaint, the Police have registered a case against the accused and started investigation.
The victim’s father has said in the complaint that on 20th May, around 2 p.m., his 13-year-old daughter went to the shop to buy a few things. On the way, she met Rihan and he took her with him. The complaint also said that three more people are involved in this conspiracy.
Some news agencies have reported Rihan’s name as Zeeshan. He was targetting Hindu girls and trapping them in a romantic relationship. Reports say that many Hindu girls have fallen prey to his conspiracy.

Even though there is anti-Love Jihad law in Uttar Pradesh, it is as if it does not exist. This can be seen from the increasing incidents of Love Jihad. Therefore, there is a need to make this law stricter and to implement it effectively. |
