Islamic State’s India Chief arrested in Assam

Haris Farooqui, the head of the Islamic State in India, and his accomplice

New Delhi – Assam Police arrested Islamic State’s India Chief Haris Faruqi alias Harish Ajmal Faruqi, from Dhubri. Along with him, two more terrorists have been arrested. These three had crossed the Bangladesh border and infiltrated into India.

Haris Faruqi’s associate Anurag Singh alias Rehan, a terrorist from Panipat in Haryana, has converted to Islam. His wife is a Bangladeshi. Both are trained terrorists. They have recruited Muslims from many places in India into the organisation. They have also raised funds for the activities.
