Eight Bangladeshi nationals held for illegal stay in Navi Mumbai

All of them are Bangladeshi Muslims

Navi Mumbai – A case has been registered against eight Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in Shahbaz village in Navi Mumbai, comprising five women and three men. Their names are Payal Kutus Malik, Ruby Kasham Ali Begum, Kanika Babu Shaikh, Rani Shabbir Mulla, Halima Salim Shaikh, Monirul Siddiqui Shaikh, Salim Kuka Shaikh, and Masud Raju Rana, all of whom hold Bangladeshi citizenship. This action was undertaken by the anti-human trafficking Cell.

Reports indicated that some Bangladeshi nationals were unlawfully residing in a flat in the area. Subsequently, following a raid, the aforementioned individuals were discovered. They lacked any proof or documentation of Indian citizenship, leading to their apprehension. Additionally, another Bangladeshi woman named Nasreen Siddiqui Akhtar was found among them, possessing a passport and a valid visa issued for medical treatment. Consequently, she was released.
