Bilawal Bhutto’s veiled threat to India when Pakistan is on the brink of bankruptcy

New Delhi – Bilawal Bhutto raised the Kashmir issue during a press conference with the Pakistani media in Goa. When asked about India holding a G20 summit in Kashmir, he gave a veiled threat saying, “Such a response will be given to India that it will be remembered (Waqt aane par aisa jawab denge jo yaad rahega). It shows pettiness. It is a show of arrogance.

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has attempted to explain his statement. Ministry spokesperson said it would be irresponsible to interpret the Foreign Minister’s statement as a threat. While reporting on sensitive international issues, the Pakistani Ministry also told journalists to respect journalistic standards.
