Supreme Court rejected the plea seeking a declaration of the cow as a national animal

New Delhi – Supreme Court rejected the plea of instructing the Centre to declare cow as national animal. The Supreme Court rejected even to hold the hearing in this regard.

SC asked the petitioner, which basic right has been affected ? Is this the job of the Court ? Why such petitions are being filed that we would be forced to impose fine ?
