Rajya Sabha ruckus : 3 AAP MPs handed 1 day suspension

Membership of such unruly MPs should be cancelled and penalties collected for !

New Delhi – Aam Aadmi Party MPs Sanjay Singh, Susheel Gupta and N.D. Gupta have been suspended for causing disruption in the Rajya Sabha over the farmers protest issue. These MPs stormed into the well of the House causing disruption to the proceedings. They were then escorted out with the help of marshals. The Speaker ordered that these 3 MPs be suspended for one working day. VP Venkaiah Naidu, Chairman of Rajya Sabha said, ‘Why does this sloganeering start only when the Farmers’ issue is discussed? This dictatorship will not be tolerated’.
