Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee ‘pushed from behind’ in her home, injured

Gets 3 stitches on the forehead

Kolkata (Bengal) – On the evening of 14th March, Bengal CM and TMC President Mamata Banerjee fell on the floor as ‘someone pushed her from behind’ at her residence. This has injured her forehead and nose. She was rushed to the hospital and got 3 stitches on the forehead. The doctors had advised Mamata Banerjee to remain admitted in the hospital so that she could be looked after, but she chose to leave for home, reported Dr Manimoy Bandyopadhyay, Director of SSKM hospital. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has wished her speedy recovery through ‘X’.

The Police to investigate the matter

Lalbazar Police Station’s officers would investigate the incident. They are going to investigate those who had entered Mamta Banerjee’s bedroom.
