
Washington (USA) – “Most of the Sikhs do not support the demand for Khalistan. Sikhs are in the minority in India and the USA. Some select few Sikhs support Khalistan”, said Jassi Singh, leader of ‘Sikh of America’. Jassi Singh demanded that the Government of India should provide financial aid for the development of Punjab. ‘Punjabi youth are trapped in drug addiction. There are also other problems in the State’, he added.
While commenting on the Modi Government, Jassi Singh said, “Compared to the earlier Governments, the Modi Government has done much more for Sikhs. Still, a few issues remain to be attended to. The 1984 anti-Sikh riot is one of those issues.
