4,500 churches have closed down !
Washington (US) – The ‘Life Way’ report has revealed that the number of Christians in the US is rapidly decreasing. In the year 1970, there were 90% practicing Christians in the US. Now this number has decreased to 64%. This has also led to a drastic decline in church attendance. ‘Divya Marathi’ has released this news.
1. A recent Pew Research study found that one-third of Americans between the ages of 30 and 39 are indifferent to religion. 20% of youth are attending church, but this number is very small.
2. According to ‘Life Way’, 4,500 churches in the US have been closed so far, because people have stopped going to church. In 1990, among Christians between the ages of 30 and 34, only one adult had become an atheist; but now the number of atheists has more than tripled.
