Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh) – Maulana Tauqeer Raza has made a controversial remark on namaz. He said, ‘Wherever we are, we will offer Namaz, if the Police have to file a case, then do it’. This was a threatening statement. To this statement, BJP’s former MLA Sakshi Maharaj retorted – Jinnah has taken the Muslim country, so what remains is only the Hindu Rashtra.

Maulana Tauqeer Raza also said, ‘we will soon take out a Tiranga Yatra to Delhi. We will offer the namaz on time on the road. Let the Government take whatever action it wants from now itself. When we are on the road we will not listen to anyone ’. Maulana Tauqeer Raza and 5 others were placed under house arrest for 72 hours before they could leave for Delhi. He had threatened to go to Delhi on the 15^th of March.
