Anti-Hindu Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Govt’s politics through temples

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar visits Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple

Hyderabad (Telangana) – Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has donated Rs 600 crore for the restoration of Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Kondagattu District. Ruling Bharat Rashtra Samiti MP K Keshav Rao said, “We are renovating ancient temples.” On the other hand, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, neighbouring Telangana, is building as many as 1,400 temples in 26 Districts. They have already made its announcement. This shows that in these States’ temples are being prioritised to get Hindu votes. (Hindus must demand to free the temples from the Government’s control and hand it over to devotees. Otherwise, Governments of all parties will continue to loot money from temples in the name of giving money to temples ! – Editor)

1. Out of the 1,400 temples, the Andhra Pradesh Government is constructing 1,300 structures on its own, while 330 are being built by ‘Samarasata Sewa Foundation (SSF)’. Interestingly, this foundation is said to be associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). A provision of Rs 8 lakh has been made for each temple and Rs 2 lakh for the Idol. The Telangana Government has spent Rs 1,800 crore to restore the Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple.

2. BJP National Secretary Sunil Deodhar said that the parties which used to fund churches etc. are now talking about temples to just show off. Parties mired in corruption are pushing emotional policies, but people know their intentions. BJP is growing on the policy of development

Editorial viewpoint

The atmosphere of Hindutva in the country is expanding day by day and this is the result.  Politicians who tried to please Christians and Muslims till now, are now trying to please Hindus. This is a major change in the attitude.
