Two Kerala Muslim youth win a quiz contest based on Ramayan

Mallapuram (Kerala) – Two local Muslim youth are being commended for winning an online quiz contest based on Ramayan. Out of the five winners, Mohammed Jabir PK and Mohammed Basith M are Muslim contestants, and they are studying post-graduate Islamic religion at K. K. H. M. Islamic and Arts College, Velachery. Their syllabus also includes the study of different religions like Hindu Dharma, Buddhism, Jain, and Sikh. The contest was organised by DC Books, a famous publication company.

More than 1,000 contestants had registered for the contest held between the two months of July and August 2022.

Mohammed Basith, the second winner, said that he realised while studying this epic that people of every religion should study all religions. Studying different religions will help to stop violence from taking place in the name of religion. All religions teach us to have love and respect for each other. Mohammed Basith M has learnt many chapters of Ramayan by heart.
