New Delhi – ‘Financial Express’ published in its news that the Centre’s Central Board of Trustees has increased the rate of interest for Provident Fund (PF). About five crore PF holders in the country will benefit from this hike.

The interest rate on the PF of employees in the financial year 2021-2022 was 8.05%. In 2022-2023, it will be 8.15%. In 2013-2014 the interest on PF was highest at 8.75%. It was 8.1% for the year 2021-2022.
