Take action against ANiS, which has connections with Naxals : Mr. Chetan Rajhans, Sanatan Sanstha

Mumbai – Mr. Chetan Rajhans (Spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha) in a press note issued here said – “The CBI and other investigation agencies have been investigating the murders of Dabholkar and Pansare for the last 6 years; however, not a single investigation agency could find an iota of evidence against Sanatan Sanstha. Sameer Gaikwad, who was arrested in the murder case of Pansare, had to be released on bail after 19 months. Similarly, the investigation agencies could not find any evidence against Dr. Tawade even after 3 years for a case to be heard in the Court. The entire investigation is in a mess considering the ever-changing accused, masterminds and scripts. Therefore, Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANiS) does not have the moral courage to ask that both the cases be filed in the Court. ANiS has adopted delaying tactics in the cases by bringing stays on the cases instead of initiating their hearings.

ANiS has demanded action against the Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Jayant Athavale, out of its unreasonable attitude and insisting that what they claim is the truth, and the accused are who they point a finger at. So far, ANiS has not shown faith in the investigation agencies. Now, they have lost faith in the Courts. If the history of ANiS is studied, we will know that their activists have been arrested for participating in Naxal activities. In a list prepared by the Home Ministry on organisations that support Naxals, you will find the name of ANiS. Their FCRA registration has been cancelled due to infringement of the FCRA Rules. Therefore, action needs to be taken against the urban Naxal ANiS itself”.
