Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale : A Divine personage active for the emancipation of the entire human race !

Most Saints are Founders or sources of Inspiration for a maximum of 1-2 organisations, and establish or initiate of 1-2 Ashrams; they guide mostly on vyashti sadhana (Individual spiritual practice that benefits only the seeker performing it). They have only a handful of disciples in the real sense, and rarely do any attain Sainthood. In comparison, the entire functioning of Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale (Source of Inspiration for  Sanatan Sanstha) is extraordinary.

He is the source of Inspiration for 8 main organisations which are appropriately guiding thousands of seekers for faster God-realisation and teaching them to sacrifice for the Nation and Dharma. He is the establisher or initiator of 6 Ashrams or Seva-kendras which are moulding patriotic and devout seekers. As on 31st March 2019, 87 seekers have attained Sainthood and 1,236 seekers are on the way to Sainthood.

Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale is adorned with multifarious unique characteristics such as – He is a ‘Jnan-Guru’ who has compiled many Holy texts, ‘Rashtra-Guru’ who has proclaimed establishing an ideal ‘Divine Rule’, ‘Dharma-Guru’ who is guiding devout Hindus and propagators of Dharma, ‘Jagad-Guru’ who is teaching followers of various sects an easy path of spiritual practice, ‘Moksha-Guru’ who is making seekers progress faster spiritually, etc. His work is not only restricted to the physical dimension but is equally expansive in the subtle dimension.

Why did He feel like writing a series of articles which gives a factual account of His work ? It is as if He wants to communicate an everlasting Truth to society through it – ‘If a seeker continues to perform appropriate spiritual practice under the guidance of his Guru with complete faith, the Guru or God will help him appropriately at the right time, because the Guru or God feels the mission of the seeker is the same as His own’. Only because Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale is experiencing this truth every day, He can speak like this.

As per a Marathi proverb – ‘I planted a sapling, its creeper has reached the sky’ – Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale’s mission of propagating Spirituality which began in 1987 has grown phenominally. The reasons include His own characteristics, such as immense curiosity for aspects in Spirituality, bhav (Spiritual emotion) for the Guru, longing to perform satseva (Service unto the Absolute Truth) of the Guru, sacrificing every-thing, intense yearning for the welfare of society, Priti (Spiritual love devoid of expectations) for the entire human race, and most importantly, absolute lack of ego. Lack of ego about one’s greatness is itself true greatness and real discipleship. When a disciple imbibes all these characteristics, God assists in his mission through various means. This series of articles goes on to prove this. Seekers will certainly be inspired to rapidly develop these characteristics in themselves.

These articles will give an idea of His Divine mission. A Divine mission takes place only through Divine beings. We lesser beings are incapable of narrating the greatness of such personages; it is better narrated by the great Maharshi, who wrote thousands of years ago in a Nadi-patti that ‘Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale is the Incarnation of Shri Vishnu in the present Kaliyug’.

If we perform spiritual practice under the guidance of a Divine personage like Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale, we will progress faster spiritually and the Divine Rule will certainly be established. Hence, we pray unto the Holy feet of God – ‘May we emancipate our lives by performing spiritual practice under the guidance of Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale with complete faith’.
