Only after follow up by BJP that Marathi as subject was included in the qualifying examination

Incident in DAV Public School at New Panvel

Panvel, Maharashtra – The time table, at DAV Public School New Panvel, of the class test for class three, four, and five did not have the subject Marathi. The guardians of the students complained about this to the BJP. Thereafter a BJP committee submitted a request to the School Administration and followed up the matter. (Such active parents are important and necessary – Editor). The School Administration included Marathi Subject and corrected the Time Table.

BJP Panvel City circle President Sumeet Zunjarrao and New Panvel Circle President Dasharath Mhatre met and discussed the matter with Headmaster Ghosh. The BJP office bearers said that Marathi is the state language of Maharashtra and it is condemnable that Marathi was not included in the school curriculum and examination. They also warned that if Marathi was not included then they would be forced to agitate about the matter. The BJP delegation met Ghosh and thanked him for taking immediate action in the matter and presented him with a flower bouquet.
