Congress perturbed by event promoting the cause of Akhand Bharat

Mangaluru (Karnataka) – A three-day lecture series titled “Iniga Akhand Bharat Nirmisiye Vishranti” (Now we shall rest only after building Akhand Bharat) has been organised in Mangaluru from 20th to 22nd June, featuring devout Hindu speaker Chakravarti Sulibele. Based on Congress’ objections, Kundapur Police have issued a notice to the organisers.

The notice demands prior submission of event details, names of key speakers and guests, and information about parking and audience numbers. It instructs that no religious sentiments should be hurt nor any political leader insulted. It further states that the organisers will be held fully accountable for any breach of law. (Is it wrong – If someone concludes that the Karnataka Police are merely lapdogs of the ruling Congress ? – Editor)

Hariprasad Shetty, President of the Kundapur Congress Committee, submitted a letter to the Police claiming Sulibele has a history of delivering hate-filled speeches, and that similar complaints were previously lodged at multiple police stations across the State for disturbing communal harmony. The letter demands a probe into the event and preventive steps to ensure no communal tensions arise from casteist rhetoric.

Responding to the notice, Sulibele stated, “I’ve often been told not to deliver provocative speeches; but this time, Congress has added conditions like ‘Don’t speak on political topics’ and ‘Don’t insult any leaders’. Does this mean I shouldn’t criticise Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi? Or even condemn brutal rulers like Mahmud Ghazni, Muhammad Ghori, and Aurangzeb?”

Congress never complaints about events run by jihadi and Khalistani forces working to fragment India. Since Congress has always been at the forefront of these ‘Breaking India forces’, is it any surprise that they react this way ?
