Uran : Pro-Hindu activist mortally attacked by 4 fanatic Muslims

• They got annoyed on publication of video on cow-slaughter

• Threaten to slaughter cows and buffaloes

Uran (District Raigad) – Prem Singh Yadav (age 30 years) a devout Hindu activist residing at Jasai village was mortally attacked by Muslims with knives and iron rods. In this attack he got a very deep wound on his hand. The attackers as they were leaving threatened, ‘We will kill cows and buffaloes. Let’s see what Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal will do’.

Four days ago, Prem Singh had alleged that cows were being killed at Maharashtra Dhabha in Jasai Village; and he had put a video to that effect on social media. It is reported that the attack has happened because of this. The owner of the Dhabha is a Muslim and the Muslim employees working at the Dhabha had attacked Prem Singh. The attackers had come on 2 two-wheelers. These two wheelers had no number plates on them.

This attack happened at 1 am when Prem Singh was returning home. He managed to save his life by running away from there using his presence of mind. The workers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal took him to the Government Hospital; but he became unconscious .Hence he was shifted to Hospital at Vashi.

Editorial Perspectives

• This gives an idea that the Pro-Hindu activists’ task is so risky to protect cattle, that just by publishing a video they are brutally attacked. Also, this raises the question, if the State has a law banning cow-slaughter or not.
  

• The Government should give protection to the Pro-Hindus who are striving hard to protect the cows.
