1,300 couples granted divorce yearly

Nagpur, Maharashtra – The Nagpur Family Court is annually giving consent to 1,300 divorce petitions. In the period 2021 to 2024 the Family Court heard 5,569 divorce petitions, of which they consented to the divorce of 5,444 couples. Till February 2025, 1,881 couples have got divorced.

The main reason for such large scale divorces is blindly following western culture, and extreme immorality. The couples should realise that the only way out of this is trying to follow the family values given in the Indian Culture.
