It is a matter of pride that Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnad Mahotsav is happening in our college : GEC students share feedback

Students also share spontaneous reactions on traditional India and modern India (Tradition and Technology)

Ponda (Goa) – It is a matter of pride for us that the Shankhnad Mahotsav is being held in our college premises. If we combine modern technology with Bhagawadgeeta, we can make a lot of progress in life. Therefore, both traditional India and modern India are needed in life. This event should not be seen as an ‘agenda’ but should be seen from the perspective of personal development, said Kaushal Srivastava, a final year student of ‘M.Tech.’ at ‘IIT, Goa’. On the occasion of the Shankhnad Mahotsav, Vikram Dongre, special correspondent of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’, collected feedback from the students at Goa Engineering College (GEC). Students were asked the question if traditional India and modern India can exist together.

This event is for the upliftment of Sanatan Dharma !

On this occasion, a student named Svanish Phaldesai, said, “It is a matter of pride for us to have such a programme at Goa Engineering College. Yogi Adityanath and Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji are also attending this programme. Since this is the first time such a big programme is being held here, everyone should attend this programme and experience.” Parth Kamat from the ‘Electronics and Telecommunication’ department said, “This programme is being held for the upliftment of Sanatan Dharma. In today’s war-like situation, it is the need of the hour for all Indians to unite. Indians abroad are also making progress in technology while preserving the Indian traditions. Therefore, traditional India and modern India should be combined.”

Technology has strengthened Sanatan traditions

Aayesh Salelkar, a final year student of Computer Engineering, said that traditional India and modern India can move forward hand in hand; because science is hidden in our traditions too. Traditions have been strengthened by technology. Prime Minister Modi’s dream of ‘Developed India 2047’ can be fulfilled only by combining both spirituality and technology.

“The new generation should be aware of our culture. For that, it is necessary to preserve tradition along with technology,” said Aayesh’s friend.
